Ziran Qigong is a unique Chinese excercise system designed to exercise both the body, as well as prepare the mind, for day to day trials and stress.
Qigong draws on three main elements. It includes "Regulating the Body", through specific postures, self massage, and the movement of the limbs. "Regulating the Mind" through quiet relaxation and concentrations of one's mental activity; and "Regulating the Qi" by developing and strengthining the harmony between both mind and body.

Study-wise Global in association with the Zi Ran Men Kung Fu academy is proud to present a unique opportunity to travel to China and train with renowned traditional Shaolin Kung Fu masters.
Host Institution: Shaolin Wu Shu Institute (operated by the Henan Provincial Government)
Activities: Study Shaolin Kung Fu and Qi Gong with traditional Kung Fu Masters at the heart of the Shaolin district in China. Visit Shaolin Temple and the Damo Cave, and climb Mount Shao Shi Shan. A friendly interperator will lead the tour group from beginning to end of the trip.

The fee will cover the cost of return economy airfares, accommodation, three meals a day, tuition fees, and local transportation in China. The fee does not cover visa application fee, travel insurance, or entertainment tickets for shows. Extra fees are applicable is students wish to pre-arrange private lessons with Kung Fu Masters.
Application closes 30th June 2009. Students wishing to attend the trip must also make a deposit of $800 is also required by 30th of June via cheque or internet transfer (no cash or credit).
Liu He Tang Lang Workshop! (Six Harmony Praying Mantis)
Zi Ran Men Kung Fu Academy offers you a rare opportunity - to participate in a workshop by Master Han Yan Wu and Master Liu Deming featuring the rare Chinese martial art of Liu He Tang Lang (Six Harmony Mantis).
This three hour intensive workshop is only the third workshop of its kind of workshop to held in Melbourne over the last 10 years. Furthermore, Zi Ran Men Kung Fu Academy will provide a series of optional sessions following the workshop to give participants an opportunity to consolidate what they have learnt.

About Master Han :
Master Han Yan Wu is an internationally renowned expert in Ba Gua Zhang, Xing Yi Quan and Liu He Tang Lang. He currently resides and teaches in Beijing . Master Han learnt his martial arts under the guidance of the famous Baguazhap Grandmaster, Liu Jing Ru, He has won many Championships in China both in Ba Gua and in Liu He Praying Mantis. He is the Deputy Secretary of the Beijing Ba Gua Research Committee is currently Ranked Grade 6 in Chinese Wushu / Martial Arts. He is also Dean and head coach of the Beijing Traditional Wushu and Bagua Training Department.
Free Tai Chi
Free Tai Chi lessons held by Master Liu will also be available over the summer at various locations in City of Port Phillip, at 6.45am to 7.45am, Monday to Thursday, from 12th January until the 19th of February.

Christmas Holidays

Ziran Qigong Courses
Master Liu will be conducting Level One Ziran Qigong courses from October to December 2008.
The Ziran Qigong System consists of six different sets of exercises for the regulation of mind and body.

February 2007 Qi Gong Workshops We will be hosting two Qi Gong workshops in St Kilda on Sunday the 25th of February. These workshops will be conducted by Qi Gong experts from China, and are sponsored by the Chinese Qi Gong Association. Master Liu's Fourth Disciple Student
It gives us great pleasure to announce of the initiation of Fiona Patterson as the fourth disciple student of Master Liu De Ming, the lineage holder of Zi Ran Men. Fiona (picture still coming) was initiated at a ceremony on the 18th August 2006 and joins first disciple Le Le Wang-Burns (pictured left, initiated 9th July 2002), second disciple Stuart Holdsworth (pictured right, initiated 28th July 2003) third disciple Karl Braganza (initiated 9th February, 2005).
Permission for the additions to the Zi Ran Men lineage was granted from China by Wang Mian Xiang, the widow of the late Master Hong Zheng Fu.
